Thank you for your interest in our upcoming event! We are excited to share our plans for the 3 LECO Experience days with you. While we finalize the detailed schedule, we would like to provide a brief outline of what you can expect from this incredible event:

  • Day 1: Inorganic and material elemental analysis – CHNOS determination in steel, special alloys, other metals, AM – Additive manufacturing powders, High Tec ceramics, fiber reinforced plastics – determination of fiber volume content
  • Day 2: Environmental analysis – TOC/TIC/ROC determination either with wet chemistry or with temperature dependent methods, CNS determination in soils, sewage sludge automated moisture analysis
  • Day 3: Food/Feed analysis – Moisture/Ash analysis, protein determination, separation science (food aroma, pesticide) sample preparation and more

DAY 1 (14th November):

  • Dr inż. Katarzyna Lejda (Department of Fuel Technology, Faculty of Energy and Fuels) – Determination of oxygen content in kesterite-type compounds – Cu2ZnSnS4 – prospective materials for photovoltaics
  • Michael Jakob – Perfect analyser for special purposes, a view to the LECO H836EN, CS844ES, O836SI
  • Michael Jakob – Calibration and theory of elemental analysis, demonstrated with the CS744

How to get there by public transport in Berlin:
Station: „Jungfernheide“
Bus: 109, M21, M27, N7 U-Bahn: U7 S-Bahn: S41, S42
Regional Train: RB10, RB13, RB14, RE2, RE4, RE6
From Berlin Main Station ~15 Min. (5.5 km)
Leave the station in direction "Max-Dohrn-Str.", cross the street, turn left, and after about 75 to 100 meters you will see the main entrance of BiotechPark to the right.

How to get there by plane:
From BER Airport Berlin Brandenburg take the Airport Express (FEX) in direction „S+U Berlin Hauptbahnhof“ (Berlin Main Station, 3 stops). At Berlin Main Station take the train RE4 in direction „Rathenow, Bhf" and get off the train at the next stop „S+U Jungfernheide Bhf (Berlin)". The train journey takes about 50 minutes (including train changes).

How to get there by car: (coming from A 115)
1.) At highway interchange Funkturm, take a half right on to A100 exit Siemensdamm, turn right on to Tegeler Weg, turn left (first street) on to Max-Dohrn-Str.
2.) At highway interchange Charlottenburg keep right and turn on to Tegeler Weg at autobahn junction Jakob-Kaiser-Platz, turn right on to Tegeler Weg, turn left (first street) on to Max-Dohrn-Str.
3.) At highway interchange Jakob-Kaiser-Platz turn right on to Tegeler Weg, then turn (first street) left on to Max-Dohrn-Str.

Public parking spaces can be found directly in front of the entrance to BioTechPark.

In the course of 2023, the latest LECO GC-MS instrumentation utilising hydrogen carrier gas took a tour around Europe to showcase aroma, flavour and fragrance analysis.

Due to high demand, we have decided to add a final location in Berlin (at the LECO European Application and Technology Center – EATC), and open registrations to all other application areas.
